1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using AntonCV ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

2. Description of Service

AntonCV provides an online platform for creating professional CVs, cover letters, and tracking job applications. The Service includes:

  • CV and cover letter builder with multiple templates
  • PDF generation and export functionality
  • Job application tracking and management
  • AI-powered content improvement suggestions
  • Cloud storage of your documents

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

To use the Service, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete information. You may register using email and password or through third-party authentication (Google, LinkedIn).

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access

3.3 Account Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

4. Subscription and Billing

4.1 Subscription Plans

AntonCV offers both free and paid subscription plans. Features and limitations vary by plan tier.

4.2 Payment Terms

  • Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually)
  • Payments are processed through Paddle, our payment processor
  • All fees are in USD unless otherwise stated
  • You authorize us to charge your payment method for all applicable fees

4.3 Automatic Renewal

Your subscription will automatically renew unless you cancel before the renewal date. You can cancel anytime through your account settings.

4.4 Price Changes

We reserve the right to modify subscription prices with at least 30 days' notice. Existing subscribers will be notified via email before any price changes take effect.

6. Acceptable Use

6.1 Permitted Use

You may use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree to use the Service to create your own professional documents for legitimate job search purposes.

6.2 Prohibited Activities

You may NOT:

  • Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Violate any laws or regulations
  • Infringe upon the rights of others
  • Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service
  • Resell, redistribute, or commercialize the Service without permission
  • Create fraudulent, misleading, or deceptive CVs
  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Our Content

The Service, including its design, features, templates, and code, is owned by AntonCV and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the Service.

7.2 Your Content

You retain ownership of the content you create using the Service (your CVs, cover letters, etc.). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to:

  • Store and process your content to provide the Service
  • Generate PDFs and other formats of your documents
  • Use AI services to improve your content (when you explicitly request it)

We do not claim ownership of your content and will not use it for any purpose other than providing the Service.

8. AI-Generated Content

AntonCV uses AI to provide content suggestions and improvements. Please note:

  • AI suggestions are recommendations only and may not always be accurate
  • You are responsible for reviewing and approving all content in your CVs
  • We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated content
  • AI features may be subject to usage limits based on your subscription plan

9. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

10. Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable Service, but we do not guarantee:

  • Uninterrupted or error-free operation
  • That the Service will meet your specific requirements
  • That all bugs or errors will be corrected immediately

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part thereof) at any time, with or without notice.

11. Termination

11.1 By You

You may terminate your account at any time through your account settings. Upon termination, your subscription will be canceled, and your data will be deleted within 30 days.

11.2 By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

  • You violate these Terms
  • Your account is inactive for an extended period
  • We are required to do so by law
  • We detect fraudulent or abusive behavior

12. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not guarantee that:

  • Use of the Service will result in job offers or interviews
  • Your CVs will meet the requirements of any specific employer
  • AI-generated content will be accurate or suitable for your needs

13. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ANTONCV SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:

  • Your use or inability to use the Service
  • Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
  • Any content or conduct of third parties on the Service
  • Any other matter relating to the Service

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AntonCV and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any rights of another person or entity
  • Content you submit through the Service

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which AntonCV operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

If you have any dispute with us, please contact us first to attempt to resolve it informally. If we cannot resolve the dispute informally, any legal action must be brought in the courts of our jurisdiction.
